These terms and conditions govern your use of Lauren’s Patisserie’s website. By accessing or using the website you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using the site.
Definitions:
- “Lauren’s Patisserie” , refers to “I”, “we”,”our”,”us”, the operators of the website.
- “User”, “you” and “yours” and “customer” refers to anyone accessing or using the website.
- We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. See the top of the page for date, updates. Any such changes will take effect from when they are posted on the website .Terms and conditions are in affect from each use.
- The contract between us shall be governed by the Laws of the European Union and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of the Ireland under EU law.
- When you place an order we collect certain personal information (e.g. name, address, email address and phone number, any required details relevant to the order along with payment details.
- When placing an order through our website you agree to provide accurate and complete information. Please re check the spelling of all customised detail before placing your order. The responsibility lies with the customer to ensure this information is correct.
- All payments made are on our website are processed securely. We are not responsible for any third party payment gateway issues.
2. Ordering
- All orders must be made online on this website and are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
- Acceptance of order and completion of the contract is made once the order is confirmed by us in writing (by email) and payment has been made in full. English is the only language offered for the conclusion of the contract.
- Lauren’s Patisserie reserve the right not to accept any order due to one or more of the following:
- The product is out of stock.
- Payment has not been authorised.
- Error in pricing or product description.
- Unexpected limits on our resources that were unforeseen.
- We cannot meet a deadline you have specified, insufficient notice.
- IT failure of the website.
- If a customer has previously placed an order and failed to make payment on our agreed terms and conditions. We may refuse new orders until payment is made.
- We take our brand reputation seriously if a customer has engaged in slanderous behaviour or made false, damaging statements about or brand publicly or privately. We reserve the right to refuse the order.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to thoroughly read our Dietary & Allergen Guide on each product ordered before ordering for yourself or any party or other bodies that may be in contact with our products.
- All sizes and measurements are approximate but we do our very best to ensure that they are as accurate as possible.
- Products may vary slightly from their images. All our cakes, cupcakes and bakes are freshly baked and homemade.
- Product packaging may vary, depending on supply. The packaging of the product may vary from that shown in images on our website however we will do our very best to keep you updated on changes.
- If by the off chance you need to make a change to your order please contact us as soon as possible and we will let you know if the change is possible. If the bakes/decorations or products have been made changes to the order may not be possible to ensure we avoid waste.
- We reserve the right to make minor changes to the product:
- to reflect changes in relevant EU laws and regulatory requirements; and
- to implement minor improvements
3. Risk
- Risk of damage or loss to the goods supplied passes to you from the time we deliver the product to the address you gave us or you or a courier organised by you collected it from Lauren’s Patisserie. We cannot accept any claim for damage, loss or deterioration after the delivery or collection has been made. Please read the storage and handling instructions carefully upon receipt of your order. This does not affect your statutory rights.
4. Delivery & Collection
Cakes, Cupcakes, bakes and decorations
- Products are available for delivery nationwide in Ireland
We have researched to ensure we are getting the best value and most reliable delivery service possible. Delivery rates are calculated by our courier company. Where the customer and Lauren’s Patisseries agree on a collection area for specific products it is the responsibility of the customers to ensure they are available for that time slot and location.
AA route planner will be used to quote distances outside of Sligo town and costs will be agreed for drop off and set up in line with this.
- For larger orders that exceed our regular courier capacity we reserve the right to charge additional costs. We will contact you with a quotation for your approval should this be the case.
- Delivery dates and time slots are limited and can be selected when checking out in the online shop. Customers are required to provide clear delivery instructions, a contact name and telephone number for our delivery driver.
- If, despite our reasonable efforts, we are unable to contact you to re-arrange delivery or collection we will end the contract and will not accept any claim for a refund or replacement. The responsibly is on the customer to make alternatives arrangements.
- If the incorrect shipping country is entered, we reserve the right to ask for additional payment to cover the cost of shipping. Failure to do so will result in the order being cancelled.
- Please make sure the delivery address and postcode are correct as we take no liability for goods being undelivered due to incorrect/inaccurate address details.
- All delivery times are estimates only. We cannot guarantee any delivery at any specific date or time.
- It is your responsibility that someone will be at the address to accept the delivery when being made.
5. Payment & Prices
- All payments made are on our website are processed securely. We are not responsible for any third party payment gateway issues.
- All prices are quoted in EURO and we are currently VAT exempt. Delivery costs are additional to quoted prices. Decorations and customisation are additional costs. Please remember to add these to your cart.
- Payment must be made when placing the order. This also applies to any pre-ordered items.
- We accept payment by Stripe Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit cards and all acceptable methods that Stripe accept. If any transactions decline please pick up with Stripe and or your provider. The responsibility is on the customer to ensure the payment is processed correctly.
- When using the card you confirm that you are the cardholder or have permission to make payment with the card by the cardholder. In the event that our system flags an issue with the provided card, we will refund the order and contact you to take payment with an alternative card. Should this not be possible we will not accept the order.
- .The price you will be charged is the price stated on the website at the time we receive your order. In the unlikely event that an incorrect price has been given, we will contact you as soon as possible to see if you would like to go ahead with your order at the correct price or cancel the order.
- You will receive a receipt of payment via email as well as a confirmation of your order. If you do not receive this in 24 hours, your order has not gone through.
- We reserve the right to change prices at any time. We reserve the right to amend prices at any time at our discretion. We will not do this once an order has been agreed and paid. Orders quoted are relevant for a 4 week time frame from the time of quotations.
- We cannot be held responsible for any charges local Customs charges. We recommend that you check with your local customs authorities before placing an order with us. This is relevant for cross border or international delivery.
6. Cancellations
- At Lauren’s Patisserie, we take great care in preparing and delivering our freshly baked goods for you. Due to the nature of the products and processes involved, cancellations is not possible once an order has been placed.
If by the off chance you need to make a change to your order please contact us as soon as possible and we will let you know if the change is possible. If the bakes/decorations or products have been made changes to the order may not be possible to ensure we avoid waste.
7. Refunds & Returns
- At Lauren’s Patisserie, we take great care in preparing and delivering our freshly baked goods for you. Due to the nature of the products and processes involved, refunds and returns are not possible for a change of mind.
- If you receive a product that does not meet our high quality standards or is damaged during transit. Please contact us via email hello@laurenspatisserie.com immediately once delivery is received. In order to provide proof to our courier/delivery team we will ask for a photograph as proof to assess the issue. Please attach the photograph to your initial email. If the claim is valid we will discuss customer by customer if a partial refund or replacement product is required. This depends on the individual situation.
- As our products are perishable, we do not accept returns of baked goods once they have been delivered, accept in the cases of quality, in correct orders or damage at delivery.
